All replaced parts and product become the property of Proficient Audio Systems. Proficient will bear the cost of returning the repaired or replaced product to you, freight prepaid. If mounting surface modification is required, Proficient assumes no responsibility or liability for such modification. In some cases where a new model is substituted, a modification to the mounting surface may be required.

It is preferable to ship this product in the original shipping container to lessen the chance of transit damage. Freight collect shipments will be refused. Warranty service requests made without proof of date of purchase will be denied. Defective products must be shipped, prepaid and insured, together with proof of purchase. If you discover a defect in material or workmanship within the Warranty Period, you can obtain warranty service by contacting Proficient during the Warranty Period at 800.472.5555 or or by contacting the dealer from whom you purchased the product. When placing your speakers on a wall or bookshelf, the optimal sound will be achieved if they are mounted at ear level or slightly higher. Following these suggestions will help to ensure that your speakers will last a lifetime. If installing speak-ers on a boat, the wheelhouse provides the best location for the same reasons. They reduce the exposure of constant direct sunlight, salt spray, and precipitation. When mounting your speakers outdoors, the eaves of the roof provide an ideal location. Either channel may be attached to either terminal set, however, be sure that polarity (+ and –) is correct on each channel or the performance of the speaker will be seriously affected as one channel will cancel out the other. Attach the speaker cable, observing the proper polarity with your amplifier, + to + (red) and – to – (black).
